I have an MA in Management with a focus on strategy. I have owned and managed a variety of businesses since 2007.
E-commerce
15 years of trading online in a variety of industries. In addition to being the CEO my locally based e-commerce company, I am also an investor in multiple online businesses.
Digital marketing
Search Engine Optimisation, Converstion Rate Optimisation, Branding, Paid Ads, Content Marketing, Email Marketing….. I’ve been having daily conversations on these topics for more than 10 years.
B2B service industry
I brought the Sanondaf disinfection system to the Channel Islands in 2017 and ran the business before and during the pandemic before selling the business in 2021.
Public sector
Prior to all this, I was a police officer in Edinburgh for 5 years.

My hobbies and interests include:
Spending time with my three boys. We’re an active family and I’m very grateful for the huge number of activities that Guernsey has to offer.
I try to stay fit and healthy by exercising when I can. Admittedly, that’s not often.
I love reading books. It’s almost always a book on business strategy or how to improve at chess, but I do make exceptions for autobiographies and the Robert Galbraith ‘Strike’ novels.
I’m a big football fan and try to watch Liverpool whenever they’re on TV.
My favourite part of the week is reading The Sunday Times on my iPad with a coffee from Woodies.
